So you're interested in our name, well it's quite simple really. Many years ago a man named Mr Piper owned our home and the land where we have our aviaries. We purchased the house from Mr Piper, but as a practising non-conformist Mr Piper kept ownership of some of the land since it housed the local Non-conformist chapel.

Many years later, after the chapel was no longer operative, he wished to sell the chapel and land. However since any new owner would need to cross our land to get to the chapel, he was unable to sell it to another party. So we came to purchase Mr Piper's Piece of land.
