Goffin Cockatoo (Cacatua goffini)

The Goffin Cockatoo is a wonderful pet. They can initially be shy, and with time become extremely playful. Their legs are like a crow's, so they can only hop to get around on the ground. Some of them learn to "walk", which can look very amusing. They are avid chewers, so don't leave them out of your sight when they are out of the bird cage. As a result they love toys to play with.

Their diet should consist of a good parrot mix and Kaytee pellets, as well as various fruit and vegetables.
