Blue & Gold Macaw (Ara ararauna)The Blue & Gold Macaw is probably the best known of all macaws. They grow to approximately 34 inches long. As you would expect, they are blue and gold in color.As with all the large macaws, they like to interact with people and are extremely intelligent. They make great pets as they will bond to several members of the family and have a gentle nature.
