Red Fronted Macaw (Ara auricollis)The Red Fronted Macaw is about 24 inches in length. They are very outgoing, curious, and playful parrots. They tend to be vocal though not overly noisy. When raised as family members and socialized, the Red fronted macaw makes an excellent family bird. They make a perfect companion bird for someone that likes the personality of the larger macaws, but does not have the room for the bird cage size that would be required for a large parrot. Their diet should consist of a good parrot mix and Kaytee pellets, walnuts, brazil nuts, peanuts and fruit & vegetables. Find out if we have any Red Fronted Macaw available now.
